Need help fulfilling the PE requirement for your homeschoolers? Come play with us in a fun and encouraging environment. Activities vary each class and focus on overall fitness, motor skills, and developing agility. Class structure will include a warm-up, activity instruction and play, and a cool-down. Instruction may include fundamental skills and play of traditional sports such as basketball and soccer with a mix of untraditional play like table tennis or our Ultimate Warrior Course. Don’t miss out on the fun this school year. CORE Youth Programs are a variety of inclusive recreational sports designed for all abilities.

Monthly Sessions - Includes 8 classes a month during the school year only, August - May. (No class during major holidays, December, June, and July)
Fee: $20 Member / $25 Non-Member, Siblings receive $5 off.

Come join us every Wednesday to put your child’s agility, balance, and speed to the test on our Ninja Warrior Obstacle Course. Your child will have a blast as they jump, roll, and crawl their way through our course. Parental supervision is required at all times.

Audience: 3 - 12 years old

Join us for Adaptive Avengers, a recreational PE class for children with special needs (intellectual, physical, sensorial or a combination). An instructional program designed to give the participant the skills necessary for a lifetime of recreation and to enhance physical fitness and wellness. Sports and activities may include soccer, basketball, playground games, fitness, t-ball, and more. Parent participation is encouraged.

Audience: Children in grades K-12 with any kind of special need
Days/Times: Tuesday & Thursday 4:00pm - 5:00pm (monthly registration)

Our Blasters Wars is a recreational activity meant for the entire family. The CORE will provide the foam bullets (soft tip darts), you bring your blaster, we all have fun! A prize will be drawn at the end of the play time, participant must be present to win. Parental supervision during event time is not required, but encouraged. This is a special event offered periodically throughout the year.

Summer is here!! Come join us for outdoor and indoor activities with a fun field day at the CORE! We will play several different activities including Kickball, Dodgeball and more. Dress up for running and bring a water bottle. Parental supervision in not required during event time. The All Star Day is a summer program offered on the last Friday of June and July.

No school for the kids? Come to the CORE for a field day! During the school year it’s hard to figure out what to do with the kids’ energy, especially when a holiday falls in the middle of the week. On those days, bring your family to have fun with several activities! The CORE will provide the all equipment for your family to have fun playing and competing. No registration needed, just show up.

Youth Sports is a coed recreational program designed for girls and boys to learn and develop sport specific fundamentals with an emphasis on fun and fair play. This is a 6 weeks class and includes 7 practices of 45min each and 5 games and a shirt. We offer four seasons within the school year.

CORE Youth Programs are a variety of inclusive recreational sports designed for all abilities. Volunteer coaches are welcomed!

Fees: $35 Member / $40 Non-member, CORE Shirt included with registration fee

Sports 101 is a class focused on introducing different sports. Through the 4-weeks, participants will have the opportunity to experience 4 sports (varies by season) by participating on drills to improve basic skills of each sport as well as games against peers. A CORE Sport Specialist will lead this 45min class keeping a fun learning environment.

A sport specific day clinic designed for girls and boys (8-15 years old) to learn and develop sport specific fundamentals with an emphasis on fun and fair play. This day clinic is taught by college athletes who love the sport and are passionate about kids’ development. Come learn skills specifics to your sport! Registration includes Day Pass to the facility. Parental supervision during event time is not required. This special youth special event is offered sporadically throughout the year.

Our multipurpose gym is open year-round on a first come first service bases. Come with a group or alone, you are certain to find a good time at the CORE. Every night, including weekends, there is enough of a crowd to play basketball. Full court games might need to be consolidated into half court depending on crowd size. Though programming takes precedence, we will do our best to accommodate open play to all who seek to use the gym.
Our indoor turf is open year-round on a first come first service bases. Come with a group or alone, you are certain to find a good time at the CORE. Most nights there is enough of a crowd to play full field. When there is enough to make at least 3 teams, games will be played to 2 points or 7 min, whichever comes first. To encourage individuals to come play, teams will be created as players arrive. Though programming takes precedence, we will do our best to accommodate open play to all who seek to use the turf.

Our Soccer League is a 6-on-6 semi-competitive Men’s and Women’s league for 16 years of age and older. League play is consisting of a round robin and a single elimination tournament (length will be determined by amount of teams). Awards for 1st & 2nd place teams. Games are officiated by NMAA certified officials. Registration is by team only. Play is 6-on-6 with a max of 12 players on a roster. Matching jerseys with numbers are preferred. Mesh pennies provided. First game scheduled at 6:00pm.

Our Soccer Tournament is intended for adults 18 years of age and older, however players 13 years old or older may participate upon parental consent. We strive to have at least 2 brackets of each gender Men and Women. Each team is guaranteed 3 games during any tournament. All games are officiated by NMAA certified officials. Awards for 1st & 2nd place teams on each bracket. Registration is by team only, but if you are a player looking for a team, contact our Sports Coordinator. Play is 6-on-6 with a max of 10 players on a roster. Matching jerseys with numbers are preferred. In case team colors are too similar, mesh pennies provided.

Tough not consistent, there are several nights a week when there is enough of a crowd to play volleyball. Though programming takes precedence, we will do our best to accommodate open play to all who seek to use the gym.

For our COED 4v4 Tournament for adults, players register as a pair (male + female), play in 4’s with and against other pair (Partner Round Robin). Overall win/loss record by pair will determine the top scoring teams which will be awarded. Games are officiated by players. Net height - Reverse Coed (7 feet, 4 1/8 inches). Each combination of 4’s will get one games to 25 points against each team. Tournament rules will be provided on site. Registration is by pair only.

For our Men’s/Women’s Tournament for adults, players register as a team and are guaranteed 3 games. Play is round robin (single set to 25pts) followed by a single elimination tournament (best out of 3 sets to 25pts). Roster size depends on tournament formatting with varies between 4v4 and 6v6. Awards for 1st and 2nd place teams. Games are officiated by players of teams that are not playing. Registration is by team only. Most nights and multiple mornings a week, there is enough of a crowd playing pickleball. Though programming takes precedence, we will do our best to accommodate open play to all who seek to use the gym.

Our Doubles Tournaments (Men’s/Women’s/Mixed) and Singles Tournaments (Men’s/Women’s) are designed for adults, however younger players (as young as 13 years old) are allowed to play upon parental consent. In order to provide the most games possible, our tournament includes a Round Robin followed by a Single Elimination. Brackets are created taking into consideration self-rated skill levels and age. Each player must register individually and declare their partner. If you are a player looking for a team, contact our Sports Coordinator.

Our Partner Round Rodin Tournament is designed to encourage networking amongst adults 18 years of age and older by the event start date. Each player will get the opportunity to play with a different partner each game. Overall win/loss record will determine the bracket winner. Awards for 1st and 2nd place. New to Pickleball or familiar with Pickleball, all are welcomed!

We strive to offer several different formats throughout the year. All of our pickleball tournaments are a self-officiated with the opportunity to learn more about the game of Pickleball. equipment checkout

Recreational equipment is available for checkout with exchange of a collateral item. One (1) piece of collateral required per item. ACCEPTABLE ITEMS: driver’s license, key, membership card, fitness certification card, school id (current).

Rental desk closes 30 minutes prior to closing. Items must be returned by closing. Any items returned damaged due to misuse or not returned will be the responsibility of the renter and will be charged a $5 replacement fee.

Children ages 12 and under must have a parent or legal guardian present to check out equipment.

turf

The CORE provides a variety of different programming, as well as other activities that are best suited for turf.

Some possibilities include: soccer, Flag Football, ultimate frisbee, golf, and more.

The CORE will be creating leagues for the public to get involved in, that will include both competitive and recreational divisions for both youth and adults.

The gym floor is lined for basketball, volleyball, & pickleball. Four-square and shuffleboard will also be available to play in the Gym.

The CORE has two racquetball courts. Both courts are equipped for wallyball.
