Sports Coordinator



Come join us every Wednesday to put your child’s agility, balance, and speed to the test on our Ninja Warrior Obstacle Course. Your child will have a blast as they jump, roll, and crawl their way through our course. Parental supervision is required at all times.

Audience: 3 - 12 years old
Days/Times: Wednesdays from 9:00am - 8:00pm

Join us for Adaptive Avengers, a recreational PE class for children with special needs (intellectual, physical, sensorial or a combination). An instructional program designed to give the participant the skills necessary for a lifetime of recreation and to enhance physical fitness and wellness. Sports and activities may include soccer, basketball, playground games, fitness, t-ball, and more. Parent participation is encouraged.

Audience: Children in grades K-12 with any kind of special need
Days/Times: Tuesday & Thursday 4:00pm - 5:00pm (monthly registration)

Bring your Nerf Gun to the CORE for a Foam Bullet War! The CORE will provide the foam bullets (soft tip darts), you bring your Nerf Gun, we all have fun! A prize will be drawn at the end of the play time, participant must be present to win.

Audience: 6 years old and up. Adults are welcome too!
Sessions: FAMILY Edition 6 years old and Adults: Every 3 months around noon

No school for the kids? Come to the CORE for a field day! Bring your family to have fun with several activities! The CORE will provide the all equipment for your family to have fun playing and competing. No registration needed, just show up. Audience: All are welcomed

Need help fulfilling the PE requirement for your homeschoolers? Come play with us in a fun and encouraging environment. Activities vary each class and focus on overall fitness, motor skills, and developing agility. Class structure will include a warm-up, activity instruction and play, and a cool-down. Instruction may include fundamental skills and play of traditional sports such as basketball and soccer with a mix of untraditional play like table tennis or our Ultimate Warrior Course. Don’t miss out on the fun this school year. CORE Youth Programs are a variety of inclusive recreational sports designed for all abilities.

Audience: 5 - 18 years old (age calculated as of Sep. 1 of the school year)
Days/Times: 10:00am - 11:00am Tuesdays and Thursdays
Session Dates: Monthly Sessions - Includes 8 classes a month during the school year only, September - May.
(No class in Dec., June., July., No class during major holidays)

Sports 101 is a class focused on introducing different sports. Through the 4-weeks, the participants will have the opportunity to experience 4 sports (Soccer, Basketball, Football, Pickleball) by participating on drills to improve basic skills of each sport as well as games against peers. A CORE Sport Specialist will lead this 45min class keeping a fun learning environment.

Audience: Elementary and middle school
Sessions: Tuesday & Thursday evening

6-on-6 semi-competitive Men’s and Women’s league for adults 18 years of age and older. League play is consisting of a round robin and a single elimination tournament (length will be determined by amount of teams). Awards for 1st & 2nd place teams. Games are officiated by NMAA certified officials. Registration is by team only. Play is 6-on-6 with a max of 10 players on a roster. Matching jerseys with numbers are preferred. Mesh pennies provided. First game scheduled at 6:00pm.

Audience: Men’s, and Women’s 18 years of age or older, 16 & 17 years old can play with parental consent
Days/Times: Wednesday evenings

Winter League: Starts week of December 10. Registration deadline December 6

Minimum Teams: 6
The CORE has 12 pickleball courts and two shuffleboard courts. Play pickleball any time of the day, on any day you’d like! Don’t have the equipment? No problem! See the Sports staff at equipment check-out to rent out equipment for pickleball, shuffleboard, and more!

Audience: Adults of all ages and even teens
Days/Times: All day, every day

The CORE provides a variety of different programming, as well as other activities that are best suited for turf.

Some possibilities include: soccer, Flag Football, ultimate frisbee, golf, and more.

The CORE will be creating leagues for the public to get involved in, that will include both competitive and recreational divisions for both youth and adults.

The gym floor is lined for basketball, volleyball, & pickleball. Four-square and shuffleboard will also be available to play in the Gym.

The CORE has two racquetball courts. Both courts are equipped for wallyball.
